“A Survey on Pesticide Policy and Regulatory Framework in Nigeria” under the Competitive African Rice Initiative (CARI) Project sponsored by the John A. Kufuor (JAK) Foundation was conducted in March-May, 2018. The results from desk review, Focus Group Discussions with operators in the agricultural value chain for rice in Jigawa and Kaduna States and questionnaires which included regulatory bodies in Lagos and Abuja informed the recommendations made arising from the project.
